What is the difference between FAST CARB & POWER CARB?

POWER CARB can be dosed higher per 500ml bottle than FAST CARB (we recommend 80g carbs per 500ml bottle of POWER CARB vs. 40g for FAST CARB). Example: If you want to take in 80g of carbohydrates per hour, you can do so with one bottle of POWER CARB. With FAST CARB, you’d need two bottles. So if you can only carry or receive one bottle, POWER CARB makes more sense. Your choice may simply depend on logistics. POWER CARB emphasizes energy (higher dosing), FAST CARB provides more fluid intake (requires more water for dilution). FAST CARB has a 2:1 glucose/fructose ratio for rapid absorption. POWER CARB is slightly higher, meaning slower uptake through the gut. POWER CARB contains real pineapple powder (can soothe digestion), and FAST CARB contains real raspberry fruit powder (very healthy and delicious).

The bars sometimes have white deposits – are they still good?

No worries: that’s not mold. Our bars are made with natural ingredients that can react in a completely natural way. You might see some cocoa butter rising to the surface (called fat bloom) or small isomaltulose crystals forming. Both are completely safe – but they can cause the bars to look slightly grayish in places.

Are your products tested for doping?

Yes. Every batch is tested by Informed Sport. You can find certificates HERE --> just search for MNSTRY.

Can I fill hot drinks into Blender Bottles?

Unfortunately, Blender Bottles are not suitable for hot drinks. According to the official website: “The Radian Shaker’s robust, double-walled insulation keeps drinks cold for up to 24 hours, but is not suitable for hot beverages.”

Can I take the gel without liquid?

The gels generally work without water. But we recommend a small sip afterward – mango especially can taste very sweet. It’s not a must, but your fluid intake should still be covered independently from your carb needs. Tip: Take the gel just before a refreshment point and then drink.

Why does SLOW CARB settle at the bottom of the bottle?

It’s best to add the powder first, then the water. The water shouldn’t be too cold, or it dissolves poorly. In cold weather, settling is hard to avoid.

Do your products contain added sugar?

RECOVERY SHAKE and RECOVERY 8 contain raw cane sugar, but no refined sugar. All other sweetness is natural.

Can children use the products?

In principle, children from age four can use our products. They often tolerate short, intense efforts better than long ones. Carb consumption is similar to adults, but overall lower due to smaller body mass. Children often intuitively know what they need. Recommendation: e.g. 30g/500ml FAST CARB or 50g/500ml POWER CARB.

I have a fructose allergy – can I tolerate your products?

Our products are generally well tolerated, but exceptions exist, especially with fructose issues. (We have a blog post on this!) Important: distinguish between fructose intolerance and fructose malabsorption (much more common). To improve tolerance, try "gut training": start with small amounts and slowly increase. If symptoms persist, test for fructose intolerance.
