Frequently Asked Product Questions

How do I correctly dose the products?

The best way is to check our Fuel Calculator. There, you will find recommended dosages for different sports and purposes.

How can I learn more about your ingredients?

Our Active Ingredient Lexicon provides detailed explanations of all the ingredients we use. It transparently explains why we use these specific components in our products and what benefits they offer you.

What is the difference between FAST CARB & POWER CARB?

POWER CARB can be dosed higher per 500ml bottle compared to FAST CARB (we recommend 80g of carbohydrates per 500ml bottle of POWER CARB and 40g of carbohydrates per 500ml bottle of FAST CARB). Example: If you want to consume 80g of carbohydrates per hour, you can achieve this with one bottle of POWER CARB. With FAST CARB, you would need to split this into two bottles. If you can only transport or access one bottle, POWER CARB makes more sense. Focus: POWER CARB prioritizes energy (due to its higher dosage potential), while FAST CARB provides more fluids (since more water is needed for dosing). FAST CARB has a glucose-to-fructose ratio of 2:1, enabling maximum-speed carbohydrate absorption. POWER CARB has a slightly higher ratio, meaning the carbohydrates are absorbed through the intestines with a slight time delay. Unique Ingredients: POWER CARB contains real pineapple powder (which can soothe the digestive system), while FAST CARB includes real raspberry fruit powder (which is very healthy and tastes fantastic).

The bars sometimes have white deposits—are they still good?

Yes, they are! This is not mold. It’s due to the natural ingredients, which can “react” in this way. It is likely crystallized cocoa butter on the surface (fat bloom) and occasionally isomaltulose crystals. This may make the bars look slightly grayish, but they are perfectly fine to consume.

Are your products tested for doping?

Yes, every batch is tested by Informed Sport. You can find proof of this HERE → simply search for "MNSTRY."

Can I put hot beverages in the Blender Bottles?

Unfortunately, the Blender Bottles are not suitable for hot beverages. According to the official website: "The sturdy, double-walled insulation of the Radian Shaker keeps drinks cold for up to 24 hours but is not designed for hot beverages."

Can I take the gel without water?

The gels can generally be consumed without water. However, it’s recommended to drink a small sip afterward, as flavors like mango can be perceived as very sweet. While it’s not mandatory, your fluid needs should still be met independently of your carbohydrate intake. Tip: Take the gel just before a hydration station and then drink water.

Why does SLOW CARB settle at the bottom of the bottle?

It’s best to add the powder first and then fill the bottle with water. Ensure the water isn’t too cold, as it dissolves more poorly in cold water. However, during cold outdoor temperatures, some settling is sometimes unavoidable.

Do your products contain added sugar?

The RECOVERY SHAKE and RECOVERY 8 contain raw cane sugar but no refined sugar. Otherwise, all sweetness comes from natural sources.

Can children use your products?

In principle, children aged four and older can use our products. Children often respond less well to long physical exertion and generally tolerate shorter, more intense efforts better. Their carbohydrate consumption is fundamentally similar to that of adults, but due to their smaller body mass, their overall needs are naturally lower. Children often intuitively know what they need and can tolerate. Recommendation: For example, dose FAST CARB at 30g/500ml or POWER CARB at 50g/500ml.

I have a fructose allergy. Can I tolerate your products?

In general, our products are very well-tolerated. However, there may be exceptions, such as with fructose intolerance (we have an interesting blog post on this topic!).

The key is to determine whether you have fructose intolerance or fructose malabsorption (the latter is far more common).

To improve tolerance in cases of fructose malabsorption, training your gut can help: Start using the product in small amounts and gradually increase the dosage. If problems persist, it’s advisable to get your fructose tolerance tested.
