This drink mix uses the slow carbohydrate source isomaltulose (Palatinose™). Compared to other carbohydrate drinks, SLOW CARB Cherry results in a much slower and more sustained rise in blood sugar levels, which does not impair fat metabolism. At the same time, it supports the preservation of muscle glycogen, which is especially beneficial for endurance sessions at low intensity.

SLOW CARB Cherry

SLOW CARB Cherry is suitable for both amateur athletes and professional athletes during less intense endurance sessions. Isomaltulose (Palatinose™) provides 40 grams of carbohydrates in a 1:1 glucose to fructose ratio. Our products are developed in collaboration with international top athletes and teams to deliver the best possible results. Regular lab tests by Informed Sport ensure they are safe for use in competitive sports.

Dosage

Per serving, we recommend two MNSTRY scoops of SLOW CARB Cherry (weighed: 40 grams) with 500 ml of water per hour.

For longer sessions, we recommend FAST CARB or POWER CARB from the third hour onward. Optionally, you can increase your carbohydrate intake with a PORRIDGE BAR or a GEL 40. Note: We recommend not exceeding the maximum dose of 90 grams per hour.

Almost perfect

I like the taste. It delivers the right amount of carbs and is easy to dissolve. Some competitors products tend to make granules and it's very difficult to break them. I do ultra races (>20h) so it's a very important to be able to easily make drink outdoor without a need to shake it for a few minutes or use spoon or so to dissolve powder. It would be great if it had on box the pictogram about ratio. Over time you learn it but for a new customers it would be great to have some picture with e.g. 2x spoons + 500ml, especially when MNSTy offers own spoon.
