This energy gel combines a complex mix of maltodextrin and fructose, quickly raising blood sugar levels to provide you with the energy you need in no time. Compared to conventional gels, our formula- partly thanks to the use of different types of maltodextrin- has a notably low osmolarity. This allows for rapid stomach emptying and high digestibility.

Natural lemon gives the GEL 40 Lemon a refreshing fruity taste without any artificial flavor. By strictly avoiding flavorings and artificial sweeteners, our nutrition products are easy on the stomach. They are gluten-free, soy-free, lactose-free and 100% vegan.

The combination of different maltodextrins and fructose provides 40 grams of quickly available carbohydrates in a 2:1 glucose to fructose ratio. Water, maltodextrin, fructose, lemon juice (from concentrate), pectin, acidity regulators (citric acid, sodium citrate), sea salt, calcium lactate, preservatives (potassium sorbate).

Dosage

You can consume up to three gels per hour. Depending on your carbohydrate intake from a drink mix and/or bars, you can increase your total carbohydrate intake to 80–100 grams per hour with the GEL 40 Lemon. When opening, be sure to tear the gel from right to left (front-facing view).

Ich mag die Gels, 40 g Kohlenhydrate sind eine feine Sache. Geschmäcker sind verschieden, darüber möchte ich also gar nicht lange reden. Was ich nicht mag ist, dass der Verschluss unpraktisch ist. Versuche ich ihn beim Fahren mit den Zähnen zu öffnen geht er entweder nicht genügend weit auf, so dass das Gel gut herauskommt, oder er reißt gleich ganz ab. Dann habe ich ein Stück Plastik im Mund. Das könnte ich natürlich ausspucken, mache ich aber prinzipiell nicht. Von anderen Herstellern kenne ich ganz ähnliche Verschlüsse bei denen es ganz einfach möglich ist das Öffnen mit den Zähnen so zu dosieren, dass der Verschluss nicht abgeht. Das würde mir auch bei diesen Gels gefallen. Aber vielleicht bin ich auch nur zu ungeschickt?!

Top Geschmack, sehr verträglich!

TOP Produkt. Mit Mango mein Lieblingsgeschmack. Sehr Magenverträglich auch bei Mehrfacheinnahme im Training oder Rennen; auch unter Volllast.
Verträgt mein Körper im Vergleich zu anderen Gels verschiedenster Marken sehr gut. Kein säuerliches Gefühl, keine Darmprobleme im Nachgang, keine auf Dauer ekelige Konsistenz. Sehr zu empfehlen.
