The BICARB GEL 40 Lemon 1:0.8 is our high-performance gel with bicarbonate – engineered entirely for function and effectiveness. Thanks to innovative encapsulation technology, the bicarbonate is released specifically in the small intestine and absorbed into the bloodstream from there. In both taste and intended use, it clearly differs from our classic GEL 40 products. A tart lemon flavor from natural lemon oil meets the salty note of bicarbonate. Each serving delivers 40 grams of fast-absorbing carbohydrates in a 1:0.8 glucose-to-fructose ratio and 5 grams of bicarbonate.

Bicarbonate can act as an extracellular buffer in the blood and potentially enables higher performance during efforts of up to 10 minutes. The BICARB GEL 40 Lemon 1:0.8 can be combined with other 1:0.8 products and is suitable for competitions and intense training where a carbohydrate intake of up to 120 grams per hour is required.

BICARB GEL 40 Lemon 1:0.8 is used during longer competitions and training sessions to replenish bicarbonate levels after bicarbonate loading via MNSTRY BICARB. Depending on your bicarbonate loading protocol and the length of your race or training we recommend 1 to a maximum of 3 gels.

Wirkung sehr gut

Habe das Gel wie empfohlen in Kombination mit den Kapseln vorher zu mir genommen. Konnte einen deutlichen Effekt spüren.

Wirkung ganz ok geschmack nicht meins

Habe die konsistenz garnicht gerne, es ist mir viel zu creamig und ist dadurch beim joggen recht schwer einzunehmen. Der Geschmack ist mir zu wenig intensiv, der natürliche lemonade geschmack soll mehr durchdringen. Genau so wie die mango variante...mit Abstand der beste auf dem Markt

Unseren Tests mit Profi-Athleten aus verschiedenen Sportarten zufolge funktioniert das System sehr erfolgreich, zB. bei den olympischen Spielen 2024 in Paris (Gold-Medaillen) und aktuell der Schwimm-Weltmeisterschaft in Singapur (Weltmeister).

Das Bicarb Gel 40 ist ein funktionelles Produkt mit einem hohen Bikarbonatanteil von 5g pro Gel, das einen fruchtigen Geschmack nicht ermöglicht. Wir haben versucht, den salzig-seifigen Geschmack so gut als möglich ohne Aroma- und Süßstoffe und ausschließlich mit echtem Zitronenöl zu überdecken.

Geschmack schlecht

Ich habe mich von der Werbung verleiten lassen und leider gleich 2 Boxen des Gels gelauft. Der Geschmack ist leider sehr übel und einen Effekt konnte ich auch nicht feststellen. Im Wettkampf und der Regeneration danach auch nicht! Das Maurten Bicarb System funktioniert. Eures leider nicht!

Unseren Tests mit Profi-Athleten aus verschiedenen Sportarten zufolge funktioniert das System sehr erfolgreich, zB. bei den olympischen Spielen 2024 in Paris (Gold-Medaillen) und aktuell der Schwimm-Weltmeisterschaft in Singapur (Weltmeister).

Der Vergleich mit dem anderen genannten Produkt hinkt, da unser Gel alleinstehend so nicht vergleichbar ist. Das mnstry Bikarbonat-System funktioniert wie auch beschrieben als Kombination aus der Zufuhr von BICARB (magensaftresistente Kapseln) 3 Stunden (60% der Menge) und 1 bis 1.5 Stunden (40% der Menge) vor der Belastung. Bei einer Belastung über 4 Stunden Dauer durch eine ergänzende Zufuhr über das Bicarb Gel 40 Lemon 1:0.8.

Das Bicarb Gel 40 ist ein funktionelles Produkt mit einem hohen Bikarbonatanteil von 5g pro Gel, das einen fruchtigen Geschmack nicht ermöglicht. Ohne Einsatz von künstlichen Aroma- und Süßstoffe ist es nicht möglich, den für Bikarbonat typischen salzig-seifigen Geschmack komplett zu übertünchen.
